What Stops Weight Loss?

I've worked with some of my clients for 2+ years Reader

So they KNOW what a huge effect their calorie intake has on their weight πŸ“‰

But I STILL see some people making the same mistake (you might be doing it too)

It goes something like this

My client has been their calorie target for for 6-8 weeks, and everything is fine

Then suddenly, weight loss suddenly stops - even though they are still hitting their target

I ask them if anything has changed

They say 'no, nothing' 😐

I say 'are you 100% sure'

They say, 'I have started adding a little bit of Granola to my yogurt in the morning' 😬

Granola (or any other food) is NOT a problem πŸ₯£

But NOT tracking it, is

The thing is, if you add a "small" amount of granola to your usual breakfast - let's say 50g, that's around 250 calories

Nothing, right?

Well if you do that every day, over a week that's 1,750 calories πŸ“†

That's a HUGE amount

That's enough to stop you losing weight

For some, it could even make them start gaining weight

So if you are going to add 250 calories at breakfast, you'll need to cut out 250 calories somewhere else

Also, if you're going to add calories, you NEED to track them - if you don't I won't be able to spot the issue and help you πŸ”

If you are serious about losing weight, you need to be honest with yourself about what you're eating

Small changes add up VERY quickly and become a big problem

Reply if you're ready to be coached.

I've sent you a few emails about Ozempic before πŸ’Š You probably know my feelings on it by now Reader If not, let me summarise; Yes, Ozempic probably will help you lose weight πŸ“‰ It works by suppressing your appetite, so you eat fewer calories, thus creating a calorie deficit ⬇ When you stop taking Ozempic, your appetite goes back to normal This means that you'll start eating more calories again, and your weight will gradually increase πŸ“ˆ So while Ozempic will likely work for most people - the...

I saw someone post this on Instagram (As a joke... I think) I thought it was pretty funny Reader It's funny because it's kind of true Most people do just need to eat less... lol Yep, most of the time it is just that simple But is online weight loss coaching a scam?
