The Second January

For a lot of people, September is like a new start

  • The kids are back to school

  • Summer holidays are over

  • Work starts to get busy again

  • The weather starts turning colder (unless you're in the UK where we didn't get a summer at all)

It's like a second January

People tend to have the same mindset as they do on New Years Day - which means everyone wants to lose weight

If this is you - by all means use the extra motivation to kickstart your diet in September

BUT

Don't think that you're gonna be done by Christmas 🎄

So many people make this mistake in January AND September

Unless you're really overweight and you only want to lose a couple of pounds, weight loss is not a quick process

If you want to lose 20 pounds (10kg) you're looking at 20 weeks MINIMUM 📉

That means if you start in September, you won't be done until March 📆

If you start in January, you won't be done until May 📆

The point of all this is - it doesn't matter when you start

But the sooner you start, the sooner you'll be done

If the fact that it's September or January gives you extra motivation - great 👍

Be aware that you're not gonna be constantly motivated for 20 weeks ❌

There will be times where you'll just need to carry on without being motivated

So, if you want to be in shape in 2025 - you need to start now.

I've sent you a few emails about Ozempic before 💊 You probably know my feelings on it by now Reader If not, let me summarise; Yes, Ozempic probably will help you lose weight 📉 It works by suppressing your appetite, so you eat fewer calories, thus creating a calorie deficit ⬇ When you stop taking Ozempic, your appetite goes back to normal This means that you'll start eating more calories again, and your weight will gradually increase 📈 So while Ozempic will likely work for most people - the...

I saw someone post this on Instagram (As a joke... I think) I thought it was pretty funny Reader It's funny because it's kind of true Most people do just need to eat less... lol Yep, most of the time it is just that simple But is online weight loss coaching a scam?
